NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING-CONTINUED
Pursuant to Idaho Code the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Shelley
hereby give notice that a hearing will be held March 19, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. at the Shelley
City Hall, 101 S. Emerson Avenue, Shelley, Idaho. This public hearing has been continued
to the meeting on April 16, 2024, at 7:30 p.m.
The purpose of this hearing is to consider amending or adding to the City of Shelley’s
Planning and Zoning Ordinance in the following section:
Title 10-16-7(G)(2) Regarding the requirement of open areas and/or recreations areas in
subdivisions with lots less than one acre in size. The amendment is to consider adding a
specific amount of area as “green space” based on number of doors/lots or population.
Also to consider adding the ability for two adjacent subdivisions to obtain credits to share
a larger “green space”.
All persons are invited to give comment regarding this public hearing in person or you
may give written comment to the Shelley City Hall, 101 S. Emerson Avenue, Shelley,
